Himalayan Saltstones (20x18cm)
We’re delighted to add these fantastic 20x18cm Himalayan SaltStones to our ever increasing range of Hot Stone Cooking products. Designed to fit perfectly into several of our SteakStones Sets (SS005, SS002 & SS002B), our SaltStones are a delicious way to cook in the Kitchen whilst allowing you to transfer your food still sizzling to the table to enjoy every mouthful piping hot with the natural salty flavours seared right into your chosen cuts of meat, fish or vegetables. We’re not 100% sure of the science of it all, but cooking on the SaltStones seems to melt any fat in an incredible way, and soften your Steak revealing an incredibly succulent and flavoursome mouthful every time and they look great with all of our other SteakStones Sets.

HOW TO USE
There are a few key differences between SaltStones and our SteakStones LavaStones, the main one being that you really have to treat the SaltStones with extra care. Whilst our LavaStones will last forever, SaltStones should only be heated very slowly on a medium heat hob, where after 20mins or so you can increase the heat and sear your Steaks right on top. We strongly recommend you’ve purchased one of our Main SteakStones Sets beforehand, so you can fit your SaltStones right into out sturdy bases to allow you to serve a delicious looking meal in one.
HOW TO CLEAN
After use, it’s vital you leave your SaltStones to cool naturally for a couple of hours at least, and then simply use a damp cloth to wipe of any excess food residue remaining on the stone. Salt is a natural dissolvable mineral, and thus any excess washing of the stone will result in loss of size. Due to the nature of the SaltStones, we cannot guarantee how many uses you will get from your SaltStones, but what we do guarantee is you’ll never have tasted anything quite like it before!
